Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga in a broader context of yoga is the overall physical practice and aspects of yoga. In a class description context, it implies a static form of practice where the practitioner holds the positions for longer periods of time. There is more of emphasis on alignment and technique. This class can be tailored towards beginners.

Vinyasa Yoga & Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga implies more flowing movements between the poses. Synchronizing breath with movement is a major focus, along with technique and alignment. This style allows for the teacher to have creativity and design her/his own sequences.

Vinyasa Hatha Yoga

Vinyasa Hatha Yoga would be a combination between the above two styles. Many of the classes at Rina Yoga are taught in this Vinyasa Hatha format in order to provide a healthy balance for the students. Usually ending a pose with another Vinyasa!
