Astrology is an ancient tool which helps us to understand the link between ourselves and the cosmos. If we believe that there is a higher order to the universe, astrology can assist us to understand our place in the plan and how to achieve our highest potential.
The planet Venus describes our desire and our values. Venus also has dominion over money and relationships. The complex cycle that Venus maintains with the Sun is a guide to understanding how our values and desires change over time and with experience. These changes create ripple effects with our prosperity and our relationships. Value systems that are not in sync with our highest potential result in missed opportunities and bad relationships.
Every 1.6 years, Venus delivers a seed moment during which time we can reevaluate our values, adjust as necessary, and set new intentions. This moment can create the psychological space we need to free ourselves from outdated or misplaced values.
The Venus seed moment will occur between May 15 – June 27. This lecture will focus on how the seed moment unfolds, what to expect, and how to harness the maximum potential that this moment offers. Come with an open mind and an open heart for best results!

Accessible to everyone at all levels, this two-hour session of surrender, trust, grounding and community is led by Seattle yogini and founder of Sattva Yoga, Ali Valdez, and Miami yogini and Reiki master, Frances Rhodis.
This two hour workshop will provide the philosophy and background of traditional Hatha Partner yoga, its benefits and guidelines, what is happening to the body inside and out. Work in partner yoga builds communication, confidence, and healing by connecting with others.
This is not an acro-yoga workshop but one that is centered on both an active and passive role, an opportunity to both give and receive.
Bring a partner, friend, or come solo and we will pair you up. Both teachers are certified at the 500 hour level.

This two hour event led by Seattle guest teacher and founder of Sattva Yoga, Ali Valdez and Miami teacher, Frances Rhodis will teach you the techniques of bandhas, breath, and connected movement developed and refined over the years by Ali’s teacher Edward Clark, founder of Tripsichore yoga. Known for advanced vinyasa sequencing, and stunning arm balances and inversions, Ali has studied intensively with Edward in London and Seattle, and provides a hard-working and fun session leaving the practitioner inspired with a new set of techniques to advance their practice.
Both Ali and Frances are certified at the 500 hour level.

In this workshop we will journey deep into the hidden recesses of the inner mind. The inner mind, the unconscious and subconscious, consists of all memories, and doorways to spiritual awareness: all the tools we need for accessing a greater sense of inner wisdom for self-healing. Through simply witnessing what the inner mind reveals, in this safe, nurturing environment, we can release blockages in our daily lives. We will have the opportunity to reprogram our brain with a greater sense of self-love, self-awareness and confidence in our own innate ability to create the lives we desire.
This workshop will consist of a brief asana practice, created to open and calm the mind, through releasing and aligning the physical and energetic bodies, to access the subconscious and unconscious. A candle meditation to awaken the inner mind’s eye followed by basic pranayama breathing exercises to calm the mind and body. Then, through a series of guided visualizations, accompanied by sound vibrations, created through live drumming and flutes, we will enter a deep state of relaxation where all memories are accessible. We will create the space to release blockages in our current life, receive tools for healing and personal growth, as well as opening the possibility to venture into deeper past life memories.
Regardless of where your journey takes you, you are guaranteed to leave this workshop deeply relaxed, more balanced and with a greater sense of awareness of the limitless powers of the inner self. Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a small towel and a writing implement and journal or notebook in order to record your experience in words and or images.

Down Dog is said to be the Multi Vitamin of all poses. Inversions, vinyasa, long hamstrings, an open and neutral spine, and arm balances are all components of down Dog.
Learn to mimic the animal intelligence using adho mukha svanasana to access inversions. Practice specific strengthening exercises and wrist flexor and extensor stretches work to clear contractures and adhesions in the wrist and forearms that lead to carpal tunnel syndrome.
Vinyasa will flow more easily and become clearer as uddiyana bandha and mula bandha are learned and subsequently retained in adho mukha svanasana.
Most importantly the divine puppy within you reveals itself in Lila.
